going commando

The Washington Football Team, the C words, whatever you want to call them, you now have no choice but to refer to the Commanders as a good football team. Probably the most entertaining and feel-good story of the NFL this year, the Washington Commanders are leading a less than impressive NFC east. After selecting the exciting LSU quarterback, Jayden Daniels, with the 2nd pick in the NFL Draft, Washington has done an incredible job building around their rookie QB.

Rejuvenating the coaching staff by bringing in defensive minded head coach Dan Quinn and offensive guru Kliff Kingsbury. Sitting atop their division at 5-2, the Commanders are poised for a playoff push. Not only did Washington add to their coaching staff but the addition of veterans like Austin Eckler and Bobby Wagner give rookie QB Jayden Daniels some stability and guidance in his first year. Although the Commanders took care of the Carolina Panthers last week wining 40-7, Daniels went down with a rib injury early in the first, which was a scare for Washington fans. It has been reported that Daniels’ injury is not serious and may play this next week against fellow rookie QB, Caleb Williams and his Chicago Bears.

HOT TAKE: The Commanders are in a great position to win their division and make the playoffs but I am going to take it a step further and say that they will not only make the playoffs, I see them winning a game in the postseason.
